• Mohr Siebeck,"an independant publisher, founded in 1801, specializing in sustainable publishing for the humanities".

• Packt Publishing Ltd, "with a focus on producing cutting-edge books for communities of developers, administrators, and newbies alike".

• Troubadour Publishing, "an independent UK-based trade and academic publisher".

• Ursula Welsch. Neue Medien, a German academic publisher.

• Wallstein Verlag, an independant, German, academic publisher.
